Torta Lenta Partida Suspensa é uma performance que nasce do encontro entre uma bailarina e uma bateria.

Intrigada com um volume estranho no meio da cena, uma bailarina que circula pelo público tenta aproximar-se e descobrir o que será aquele objeto.

Depois de desvendar o mistério, a bailarina não se consegue conter e começa a interagir com este instrumento ruidoso.

Mas apesar de parecer apenas um objeto inanimado, esta bateria tem qualquer coisa de diferente e mais do que aquilo que aparenta.

E assim, às primeiras pancadas, a bailarina é tomada pelos sons, compondo e desmanchando movimentos em sintonia com a bateria.

O seu corpo responde às batidas que a desafiam a manter um equilíbrio cada vez mais difícil. Num diálogo vibrante e dinâmico, a bailarina e a bateria encontram forma de comunicar e de partilhar as suas idiossincrasias, e juntas vão criar imagens que vemos com os ouvidos e barulhos que ouvimos com os olhos. Como é isto possível?

Dumpling Slow Broken Suspended is a performance born from the encounter between a ballerina and a drum set.

Intrigued by a strange volume in the middle of the scene, the ballerina that is circling around the audience tries to get closer and figure out what that object bight be.

After unraveling the mystery, the ballerina can’t avoid to interact with this noisy instrument.

But, although it seems only an inanimate object, these drums have something different and are a bit more than what they seem.

And at the first strokes the ballerina is taken by the sounds, composing and dismantling movements in tune with the drums.

Her body responds to the beats that challenge her to maintain an increasingly difficult balance. In a vibrant and dynamic dialogue, the dancer and the drums find a way to communicate and share their idiosyncrasies, and together they will create images that we see with our ears and noises that we hear with our eyes. How is this possible?
